LAUNCHING A NEW (RETRO) PRODUCT: SCHWINN CASE STUDY

The beloved Schwinn brand wanted to spread the word about its Classic Cruiser exercise bike. Drawing on the product’s cool retro styling, CMD developed an undeniably fun product launch campaign with a throwback 1950s flavor and campy tone. We blended that look and feel with a modern sensibility to also spotlight the bike’s innovative technology, including its integrated Bluetooth compatibility that tracks speed, time, distance, and calories burned―all of which can be shared to the Schwinn Classic Cruiser smartphone app. You can also connect to popular riding apps like RideSocial and Zwift. The product launch campaign featured video, social, and web and won the attention of fitness fans, inspiring them to choose Schwinn to help put some pep in their step.
